Songs in the Night is a collection of Haitian spirituals recorded in the the chapel at St. Damien's Hospital in Tabarre, Haiti. Nearly every sunrise brings a funeral in this chapel, as Father Rick Frechette and the staff at St. Damien's and St Luke's Hospitals sing and pray with the families of patients, friends, or family members who have passed away and are to be buried with the help of the St. Luke's team.

The songs heard here can be downloaded for free, we are happy to share them with you. St Luke's programs include thirty schools, two hospitals, a large production center, and deep and long term outreach in the most challenging communities of Port au Prince. In addition to these programs, the St Luke's team also provides dignified burials for hundreds of Haitian people and their families each month, often singing the songs heard here in solidarity and friendship with the families of those who have been lost.

If you would like to learn more about the programs of St. Luke's Haiti please see For more information on St. Damien's Hospital please see

The music here is available for free, you can choose to pay zero when downloading. If you choose to pay, all proceeds will go to St Luke Haiti to help pay the costs of the burials at the chapel.
